私はものごごろついた時から絵を描く事が何よりも大好きで、水晶などの鉱物を飽きる事なく眺めては夢想する内気な子供でした。

日本の名画や、 寺院めぐり、ヨーロッパ,エジプト等の美術館に行き、たくさんの芸術を見ては感動し、絵画の持つ力に魅了され時に励まされ、アートの「人の心身を健やかにする力」に惹かれ、絵を描き続けてきました。

1998年、女子美術大学大学院日本画専攻修了。卒業後は、日本画壇に出品し個展、グループ展、各賞を受賞。川口市立ギャラリーアトリア企画の日本画講座や公民館での絵画教室の講師等も経験しつつ、在学中より就任した、小学館「ちゃお」編集部の付録企画のフリーランススタッフとして勤務。子供向けの書籍の編集、企画、デザインに携わる。

2000年〜仏師の父の影響もあり、仏画を描き始める。象徴化されta

仏の姿だけでなく今に生きる私たち人間の中にある輝き仏性を描き広めたいと決意。
 

2007年、世界的に活躍するベリーダンサーmishaalと出会い師事。身体の動きで心が整うシャーマニックなダンスに魅了され絵画制作への影響を受ける。女神を描き目覚めさせる「Goddess painting 」の講師も務める。

2020年、息子の東京賢治シュタイナー学校入学がきっかけで、オルタナティブ教育に目覚める。シュタイナー教育や人智学からの芸術的アプローチを学ぶ。

「NPO法人 富士山からはじまる天然顔料と粉砕の研究会」会員。女子美名誉教授の橋本弘安先生の下、日本画の持つ様々な可能性を模索。

高尾山近郊のアトリエで活動中。日本美術家連盟会員。

What is Kyokos Crystal Art?

Based on traditional Japanese painting, Kyoko Aoyama is drawing and creating her unique artwork with painting materials which are made from crystals and natural minerals. These sacred materials from nature are so sensitive and easily change their mood and condition affected by temperature and humidity. Kyoko claims〝That it is this sensitivity which allows me to feel and connect to spirits of mother earth and enhance my creativity.” She believes crystals which have lived for thousands if not millions of years are the manifestation of Love and Light from mother Earth. Her Goddess’ series of artworks drawn and designed from the crystal minerals are magical holistic manifestations which embrace our spirits and retune our heart to the vibration of nature. About the Artist Kyoko Aoyama Since she was a child, she has loved painting more than anything. Traveling Temples in Europe to museums in Egypt and around the world she has got so much inspiration from artworks of all cultures. In 1998, Kyoko has completed traditional Japanese painting degree at Womans Art University in Kanagawa, Japan and started her career as an artist and teacher. Since 2000～She has started drawing Tanka, 〝Buddhist paintings” influenced by her father who is a sculptor of Buddhist deities. Through this works she has started looking into the beauty of our spirits and manifesting divinity within ourselves through her crystal paints. In 2007 she met with the great belly dancer, Mishaal and began to study this〝Goddess Dance〟in order to enhance the power of her own feminine shakti / divinity. She lives near Tokyo in the sacred realm of Mount Takao in Japan, hosting lots of art therapy Workshops and teaching her style of〝Goddess Painting” while doing various exhibitions to awaken our power of love through her creative art and holistic expression.
